Has good hands and snatches the ball out of the air.  Is good at catching the ball in traffic and excels at routes over the middle. Adjusts well to off-target throws. Shifty in the open field but lacks the suddenness of an elite downfield threat. Has good burst off the line to separate but like most young receivers, needs to work on his route running. Has good body control to make acrobatic catches. Reads zone coverage well and sits down in open holes. Played mostly in the slot in college and will need work against bump and run coverage. Aggressive and competitive – is a good blocker in the running game. Pedestrian numbers in 2009 (38 catches, 2 TD’s) more the result of bad QB play than disappointing performance on his part. Brings added value as a kick returner.
